An extreme event will take place in a few weeks as the top Extreme Cowboy Racers from across the country come together for the Extreme Cowboy Race Finals. The Finals take place in Kansas City, MO at the Saddle And Sirloin Club November 14th through the 16th. With the races starting at 10 am each day.

Craig Cameron designed the course and Horsecity.com named it the Extreme Cowboy Race. It started out as a reality show for RFD-TV, 2007. The idea really took off as horse and mule lovers across the country came together for a good time. Events are open to both men and women.

The course is set up to test the communication between the horse and his rider and to push them to their limits. The race is divided into two divisions Non- Pro And Open. photo_equinepg1.jpg

The race is a timed event with a course that includes riding in circles, doing flying lead changes, jumps, leading the horse down rocky brushy trails, across a bridge, riding horses up and down rocky ravines, & riding through varies obstacles along the course. At the end of the race the rider runs his horse down a hill, dismounts, loads his horse in a trailer, shuts the door & run on foot back up the hill to the finish line, where they are excepted to have enough wind left to carry on a short conversation with Cameron.

Tickets for the finals are available at the gate. They are $15.00 for a one day pass or $40.00 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are free. Concessions and a Trade Show will be on the grounds.
